Gerrans Football Club Appeal. Does anyone have any mowing equipment they would like to donate to the club? They have a small ride-on mower and 6 months ago they used their savings and purchased another bigger used ride-on mower from St Austell Football Club which has turned out to be less than reliable. If anyone on the Roseland is thinking of getting rid of or able to point them in the right direction for Gang mowers or anything they would be really grateful. Please contact Ian Richards on: ianrichards883@msn.com

Veryan Ladies’ Bookclub Thank You.Thank you to everyone who supported the Beruppa Booksale this year. The Bookclub is pleased to report that ₤550 was raised for our educational initiative in Kenya. We continue to help children recommended to us by Cecilia and her Women’s Group in Kapenguria. This area in North West Kenya continues to have its problems; including massive droughts and political unrest, being close to the Ugandan border. Benson Krop (pic right) is one of four young people whose education we have helped to sponsor so far. Both his parents are dead so Benson lives with his very elderly Grandmother. For more infomation on the initiative contact:Shelagh Kester on 01872 501788
